The colour schemes for paintings of winter buildings will vary, depending on the conditions, such as the light, or the weather. Winter usually brings to mind cold, grey, typically British weather but we can also have beautiful crisp bright days. Capturing vibrant colours in a building can bring a dull winter scene to life - this means noticing and enhancing the colours.
