The annual exhibition by the New English Art Club (NEAC) goes on show at the Mall Galleries in London from June 23 to July 1, featuring the very best in figurative, observational and painterly work in the UK. The exhibition showcases around 400 works by NEAC elected members and emerging artists. Throughout the exhibition there will be talks and events given by members – including exhibition tours and demonstration with Neil Pittaway on June 23 and 24; a portrait painting demonstration with Andrew James on June 25; exhibition tours with Louise Balaam on June 26; a sketchbook-making demonstration with The Artist contributor, Robert E. Wells on June 27; exhibition tours and sketching with Michael Weller on June 28; exhibition tours with The Artist contributor Salliann Putman on June 29, an egg tempera painting demonstration with Ruth Stage on June 30; and exhibition tours and demonstration with Clare Haward on July 1. The NEAC lecture on Thomas Hennell will be given by Jessica Kilburn on June 27.
