Norman Rosenberg (1926–2022) was a London-based private violin dealer and consultant. He was well known to the trade, professionals and students alike as a source for goodsounding instruments, for which he had impeccable judgement. He retained a collection of instruments by key Italian makers, and had some historic French and British instruments as well. His is one of the most important collections to come to market in the past few decades.
