Collector Keith Nairn-Munro has created vignettes inspired by the role played by the British 17th Lancers in the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879. An article titled “A Picture (Frame) Is Worth 1,000 Words” is packed with very useful tips shared by retired U.S. Army Col. Walter C. “Stan” Stanton. He outlines simple but effective ways to transform picture frames into bases for eye-catching toy figure displays. In “ACW Engines of War,” The Toy Soldier Museum’s James H. Hillestad researches the role of railways during the War Between the States.
