Bats
As Halloween approaches, bats get their annual time in the spotlight. But, how did they get such a bad reputation? Many people are fearful of bats because they see them as blood-sucking creatures that lurk in the night, waiting to pounce on a victim. This couldn’t be further from the truth — although bats are nocturnal, they will generally avoid all contact with humans and will only bite if provoked.
