Woodturning is read by turning enthusiasts in over 60 countries worldwide and is packed with projects, features on turners around the world, tests and reviews, as well as news, letters and tips. Our projects cater for varying levels of ability, so there is something for everyone, from beginner to professional.
The April issue of Woodturning features a sculptural mantle bowl; a trophy shield; a fruit stand; a three-legged bowl; a leaf bowl and some tips on making a bandstand clock.
The techniques section includes the second part of Kurt Hertzog’s new series on woodturning know-how and we also have a new series on woodturning safety.
Our features section sees us talking to husband and wife team Pat and Peggy Bookey who show us their turned and pierced pieces; we also have a 20 minute interview with Earl Powell and show you a fantastic supported piece made by Jim Christensen.
