Both new and established writers are welcome to submit original unpublished mystery short stories to the award winning Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine and if you have never published fiction professionally before, the editors will be especially pleased to see your work.
The magazine is a staple in the world of mystery stories and is now celebrating its 75th anniversary. Throughout the years it has published over forty Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winners including such names as Rudyard Kipling, William Faulkner, Alice Walker and Ernest Hemingway.
Every kind of mystery literary fiction is suitable for the magazine across the whole gamut of crime and detection from the realistic to the more imaginative, the hard boiled to the cosy. Explicit sex or violence and true detective crime stories are not wanted.
