Specfic without stereotypes
BY PDR LINDSAY-SALMON
Galli Books is a new Glasgow-based indie, publishing ‘socially conscious speculative fiction’. Their first anthology is to be fiction, essays and poetry on the topic of ‘Masculinity’. The team have some strong ideas about males in speculative fiction and believe that ‘A culturally dominant, Western, toxic form of masculinity has dominated storytelling in speculative fiction,’ so they want writing that challenges and questions that and particularly welcome writers from marginalised backgrounds.
