The Resurgence Poetry Prize 2016, the major award for ecopoetry, is open for entries. The competition is for the best single poem on an ecological theme. Prizes are £5,000, £2,000 and £1,000.
All poems must be original, unpublished and not more than 54 lines. There is no specific theme but in some way all entries must address the relationship between humans and the natural world. Winning poets will be expected to record their poem for download.
Enter by post or online. The entry fee is £8 for the first poem and £3 each subsequent, paid by credit or debit card, or cheques made out to Resurgence Prize.
