Now in its 77th year, Trains Magazine is a US monthly print title devoted to all things railroad. Each issue contains around 27,000 words and 80-100 photos, the majority of which come from contributors rather than in-house writers. While content is largely US focused, the title does run news and feature articles about railways worldwide. Editor Jim Wrinn, a lifelong steam fan and qualified locomotive engineer, is looking for news stories and feature articles covering railroading’s past and present, including first-person recollections.
