The Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize welcomes entries for the 2018 competition.
The prize is for a novel by an unpublished women writer that combines literary merit with unputdownability. All the shortlisted entrants will receive a half-hour editorial consultation with the judge, literary agent Marilia Savvides.
To be eligible to enter, writers must not previously have had a full-length novel accepted for publication, and must not be represented by a literary agent. Novels may be in any style or genre, and may be for adult, young adult and middle grade readers. Literary fiction and genre fiction are equally acceptable.
