A week after this issue of Writing Magazine hits the news-stands, a newly elected UK government will be about to establish itself in Westminster, and we’ll be starting to get an idea of what course some of the big issues of the day are likely to take.
At time of writing there’s no way to predict what that government will look like – but one thing we can be certain of is that the legislative direction they decide on will have the potential to either present opportunities for writers to thrive, or to put up barriers to a fledgling creative career.
