Co-authoring text online has never been easier, says PC trainer Greta Powell
This month we focus on two areas. The first is working remotely on documents and files with co-authors and other online colleagues. This has never been easier than it is now, especially with the Microsoft Office 2016 updated co-authoring feature. Working with this makes viewing, editing and changing documents between two or more people in real time a complete breeze.
The second area is making sure that InDesign is set up to work with styles and formats so that, after creating large amounts of text in Word, we can control the look of the text before flowing it into InDesign.

When I bring text into InDesign from Word by using Place there are very few features to control how the text is bought across. Most of the time its fine but on occasion it would be great to be able to have some control over it.
