Q I have written a short story in epistolary form which it has been suggested by members of my writing group may be suitable for radio. However, on researching on the BBC website The Writer’s Room, it appears that they only accept drama or comedy scripts. As they do not accept unsolicited work, is anybody able to give any advice? Has anyone else had their work broadcast and how did they do it? I know the BBC do occasionally have short literary interludes at various times of the day, however my local radio station is mainly concerned with local news and pop music.
