Airsoft Action  |  September 2012
This month we review:
• Umarex/VFC HK417 – Scott Allan takes a good look at the hotly-anticipated HK417 – but was it worth the wait?
• ASG M15A4 Carbine – Matty Phillipson reckons ASG’s newest package – including battery and two mags – could be a saviour for new players
This issue we report from TAG Airsoft’s awesome event which saw teams brought into the game area by helicopter! Nige also heads up to Scotland to review Land Warrior’s skirmish site, while Martin Sole gives a rundown of Vietnam-themed airsoft. Gadge has been busy at Gunman’s Black Gold event, which mixed airsoft action with solid roleplay elements.
It’s new features galore this month, with Scott Allan interviewing Magpul PTS’ Alex Ko and Charles DuVal explaining why Belgium is a great destination for the airsofter with wanderlust. The infamous Arclight asks the all-important question: what is airsoft?
Elsewhere we have Pro-Tact’s Andy Nightingale discussing concealed carry weapons, while Billy Basics explains the importance of being fully focussed. All your favourite regular features are here – Young Guns’ Jezz Blume talks tactics while Gadge looks at the Mujahideen in Cold War Warriors, and Simon C takes over on Big Boyz Toyz while Ratty checks out War and Peace – but more on that next time!
