SOW EARLY SWEET PEAS
Few things celebrate the summer better than the scent of sweet peas, either wafting from a stand of plants in the garden, or arranged as a bouquet indoors. Sweet pea seeds can be sown twice a year in spring and again in
the autumn. While spring sowings have the advantage of warm conditions to
start with, autumn plants are usually sown in pots or root trainers, overwintered in a cold frame, and have the winter months to grow in to
sturdy seedlings.
