American Miniaturist  |  Issue 260
Autumn is here! Are you ready for pumpkin spice everything? I must say I’m not a big fan of pumpkin anything unless is for decoration but I do love putting cinnamon in my coffee in the fall season. I also really enjoy foraging in the fall. I go into the woods or on park trails and find lots of beautiful dried plants to decorate my home with. Dried hydrangeas are the best. My neighbor has gorgeous grasses and she lets me take cuttings for arrangements. There are also lots of dried mini plants you can decorate your dollhouse with, if you look closely.
This is the time to for a must-do task: seasonal cleaning of your dollhouses! I use a hand held vacuum and paintbrush to sweep up the dust. I enjoy pulling everything out and putting it all back in with some fresh decorations and a bit of rearranging.
This issue of AM has some fun things to make for fall to add to your mini rooms. Sit back, get cozy and enjoy the stories and projects from your miniature community!
