This year’s The Art & Antiques Fair Olympia gets a longer run with two extra days. While it still coincides with Clarion’s House & Garden Festival (also held at the exhibition centre), it is once again an independent event, with distinct, revamped branding, a separate entrance and different opening hours.
It will take place on only one floor of the centre, consolidating exhibitors on the ground floor.
Events: The extensive line-up of speakers signals the fair’s dual commitment to the collector’s market and the decorative trade. Talks include a panel discussion on Antiques in Interior Design (Mark Hill/Nina Campbell/Ivan Macquisten/India Hicks, June 26), The Pleasures and Perils of Collecting Ceramics (Emily Tobin/Robin Cawdron-Stewart/Marijke Varrall-Jones, June 19) and Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau Jewellery (Sally Hoban, June 28).
