IN SCOTLAND’S Year of History, Heritage and Archaeology, Kilmartin Museum has featured in an exciting edition of The People’s History Show, titled ‘Why is Scotland called Scotland?’.
The episode focused on Dal Riata, the ancient kingdom of the Scotti, and its capital of Dunadd, which is down the road from Kilmartin Museum.
In the programme museum director and curator, Dr Sharon Webb MBE, voiced the opinion that Dunadd is more important than Stonehenge.
