A QUANTITY of cannabis was recovered by police from the grounds of Lochgilphead Joint Campus on Friday December 1.
An Argyll and Bute Council spokeswoman said parents had been informed of the recovery and the council was working with police to protect pupils.
She said: ‘The school takes a zero tolerance approach to drugs, which are not permitted on school premises. On this occasion the police and parents were informed immediately and the appropriate action taken. We will continue to work with Police Scotland and other agencies to protect pupils from the risks associated with drugs.’
