Do your bit for the environment

SCOTLAND will celebrate Recycle Week later this year and a government minister is asking the people of Argyll to get involved.

Recycle Week, co-ordinated by Zero Waste Scotland, will run from September 12 to 18 and aims to get everyone recycling more by raising awareness of the benefits and promoting easy ways to do more.

In the run up to the event, local authorities, businesses, community groups, schools and colleges in Argyll and Bute are being encouraged to get involved.
