ARGYLL Community Housing Association (ACHA) has unveiled a new tenant participation strategy.
Released at the same time, the updated ‘Get Involved’ leaflet highlights different ways tenants can make sure their voices are heard. It will cost tenants £1 to become a life member, meaning they are eligible to vote at the association’s annual general meetings.
Other options include joining the tenant consultation register; the ‘Your Voice’ scrutiny group; forming or becoming a member of your local tenant and resident association, the tenants’ panel or being elected to the ACHA board or area committees.
