Toilet talks not soon enough

So, at last, it looks as if common sense may prevail.

Council officials are finally in talks with four community groups to take over some of the most used public toilets on the island – there is just one problem.

It is the first week in July, the school holidays have started and Arran is hoaching with visitors. We all know the island is getting busier every year helped not just by cheaper RET fares, but new attractions such as the Isle be Wild adventure park, great marketing by VisitArran and some excellent promotion by the businesses themselves. Everything’s great – except there is nowhere to spend a penny.
