Troon is right solution for now and for the future, says ABP boss

The man in charge of the fight to take the ferry service to Troon has been on Arran to outline why it is the best option.

There can be little doubt to the commitment of Port of Troon manager Stuart Cresswell to the project: it is his passionate view that it would be the best solution for everyone.

Originally from Hampshire, he considers him self a naturalised Scotsman having come north when he was 10 and having lived in Prestwick for 33 years.

In a wide-ranging interview with the Banner, he told how he believed the switch to Troon was the best for the ferry service now and for the future.
