David Allsop, who is originally from Arran but now lives in Kilsyth, will be running seven full and half-marathons this year in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Starting with the Virgin Money London Marathon tomorrow (Sunday), he will also take part in the new Stirling marathon, Edinburgh, Shiskine half-marathon, Newcastle’s Great North Run, Loch Ness and Glasgow’s Great Scottish Run.
David has been taking part in various marathons over the past four years since his fiancée Deborah Hanlon died, raising money for different cancer charities.
