A group of Arran youngsters have got together to host a charity event. Isla Sillars, a mental health nursing student, and her friend Rowan McCall have organised an evening of fun, entertainment and tasty treats at Brodick Hall in aid of the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH). Helping to arrange the event are longterm friends Ailsa Mc- Millan, D D McAleer and Marie Sillars. The charity night, which will be a BYOB event, will be held at Brodick Hall on Saturday July 29 at 6pm.
Organiser Rowan said: ‘We will have the Arran Pipe Band playing, live music, home baking, raffles and lots more. All of the funds raised will go towards SAMH.’
Admission will be £2 for adults and £1 for children, payable at the door.
