The Forestry Commission held a drop-in meeting in Whiting Ball village hall on Tuesday to inform the public about its plans for tree felling at Glenashdale next summer.
The information session follows the news, revealed in the Banner last month, that the main route to the Glenashdale Falls will be closed for six months while tree felling takes place.
The falls will still be accessible from the Golf Course Road, however, some closures and disruptions will take place as heavy ground and overhead machinery will be in use.
