PEOPLE who enjoy reading celebrated Book Week Scotland at the Arran library on Tuesday at the start of the week-long celebration by the Scottish Book Trust which aims to inspire readers and writers.
Events take place throughout Scotland with author readings, storytelling, poetry and book signings among many other activities. On Arran, the event was marked with live music by Mungo and Alastair Paul and Nickey Summer and refreshments being served to the crowd of people who attended, many bringing a book to swap and share with others.
