INTERVIEW
Hate Me started life as a poem you read at your spoken-word night, didn’t it?
Yes, I wrote it in my bedroom years ago. When KDA heard Hate Me at Spoken Word London, he asked me to record it on my iPhone. I forgot about it until six months later when he sent back this amazing demo. Now it’s played on Radio 1, which is cool.
What inspired the song? Was there a specific event or moment?
