Truly, Madly, Deeply

Antonio and I have been together for four years. We went to the same circus school together. At the beginning I wasn’t out, so we became friends, and we used to see each other for a while like that. One night we were out clubbing and I was kissing a lot of people. I kissed him and it was just different. I was a bit confused for a while. I hadn’t had a thing with another guy before, not anything serious anyway. For a bit we tried to remain friends, and I thought it was maybe just nothing. But then we wouldn’t stop calling each other all the time. After a while we just decided to get together and we’ve been together since. We live together with our two cats. It’s great because we work for the same company as well. I was worried it might be too much, but actually it’s been really smooth. When we travel with work, it’s nice because it feels like we’re away on holiday together. He proposed to me two months ago in Venice, when we were on holiday. It wasn’t anything crazy, just low key and romantic. The wedding might be next year. It’s just a matter of finding the right time.
