For many of us, there’s a natural progress in our studies. Triads flow into 7th arpeggios; pentatonic scales follow up on modes... but there comes a time where we have to ask themselves, ‘What’s next?’ In contemporary studies, so much emphasis is given to major tonality, and all of its subcategories, that many of us aren’t even aware that there’s an entire minor tonality to investigate.
