THE BUS empire run from a Ben More Street office has doubled its decks and swallowed one of Scotland’s biggest operators.
Soon Campbeltown’s distinctive red- and cream-coloured buses run by West Coast Motors (WCM), founded in the 1920s, will be seen right across the country and even into England since the acquisition of First Scotland East’s operations in the Scottish Borders.
Operating under the banner of Borders Buses, the new network of routes will include East Lothian, Midlothian, Edinburgh and Carlisle.
