When we married, some considered us naïve for choosing to commit to someone at such a young age and at such a tumultuous point in life. Hunter was a first-year medical student, and Callie was a junior in college. At the beginning of a pandemic that had no end in sight, two full-time students with uncertain futures committing to loving the other forever seemed an odd thing to celebrate.
