TIP OF THE FORTNIGHT
Add AllDup to File Explorer’s right-click menu
If you inadvertently save as many duplicate files as me, you’ll be pleased to learn that you can add AllDup (www.alldup.de) to the right-click menu in File Explorer, making it easy to open and use.
First, you have to launch AllDup then click the Options section at the top and tick the ‘Integrate AllDup into the Windows Explorer context menu’ box (see screenshot 1 ) – I guess AllDup’s developers didn’t get the memo that Microsoft renamed it File Explorer.
Now open File Explorer and right click, then look for the ‘AllDup -Find duplicates by’ option and select it (see screenshot 2 ). You can then choose how to search for duplicates, such as by file name, file extension and so on.

SEARCH
Declutter Google’s search results
