CALUM SCOTT – ONLY HUMAN
With brooding good looks to match his brooding, beautiful music, we think it’s #timesright for openly gay Calum Scott and his debut album. Calum is supported by many of the production boffins who’ve helped keep Adele aloft in the charts. Still, his reimagining of Robyn’s Dancing On My Own into a poignant, queer ode to resilience is a high bar to set. “I wrote this album with the intention of connecting with people all around the world using my own personal experiences,” says the 29-year-old cutie, “hoping that if I can inspire one person to be happy being themselves, bring some comfort, or just make someone smile with my music, then all of my experiences have been worthwhile.” All that and he’s not Only Human but single, too, boys.
