Although Dapol released a non-articulated Tomb of the Cybermen figurine towards the end of their run in the late 1990s, the first playable 1960s Cybermen figures came from Character in 2008. The 2009 Tesco-exclusive set dubbed ‘Age of Steel’ comprised figures inspired by The Tenth Planet (1966, left), The Tomb of the Cybermen (1967, opposite page above left) and The Invasion (1968, opposite page below centre).
The 2011 Enemies of the First Doctor set included a revised version of the Tenth Planet Cyberman, distinguished by a darker paint scheme (below centre and right).
