Bare bones furniture rocks skeleton look

Christine Horner puts a spooky spin on a regular rocking chair, turning it into a skeleton seat that will look scary creaking away in the corner of the room BY CHRISTINE HORNER

My sister, Andrea, and I were watching the movie “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre,” and noticed some pieces of furniture made from human bones. We tried to incorporate this in to our miniatures, and tried on many various items of furniture to get the right effect. We found the winning combination of using rocking chairs, which we feel adds a little more eeriness to a house, as we expect them to rock any moment.

The thing we like most about the chairs is they are not too time consuming to make, and they look great in any haunted house or macabre shop.
