three years ago, Jane Thörnblom turned her life-long fascination with miniatures into real-life therapy. “My husband and I experienced a life-changing event where we lost our home and the place where we had planned to grow old together. My Instagram account, @mylittlegreyminiaturehouseand my three little M’s are my way of getting through the problems. While I wait for a solution, I can create the small homes of my dreams.”
One day, Jane saw a picture of a house from a Swedish house supplier online; she started dreaming of making a similar miniature house, but with her own personal style. When she started looking for inspiration for her new miniature house, she came across “Pip” and the lovely Instagram account by Rebecca Wheeler. Jane said: “I fell in love with her tiny mice, and I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to adopt a little mouse from Becca and Pip.” To Jane’s delight, in the beginning of October 2022, little Minell arrived. “At first, I made her a little small cottage, but quickly realised that I wanted a slightly larger house because I had so many different ideas that I wanted to bring to life.”
