His new film, The Menu, packs a similar, darkly satirical punch to the hit HBO show, but aims its sights squarely on high-end, ultra-exclusive dining. “I’m fascinated by the idea of extreme privilege and how it perverts humanity,” Mylod tells Empire. “So while the film is comedic, there are thriller and horror elements, too.
