Hackney Archives needs help in identifying people in a wonderful collection of 150,000 photographs taken by Ron Gibson between 1952-1978.
The RA Gibson Studio was in Clapton, East London and the photos, which are now held by Hackney Archives, are thought to be the largest collection of images from a High Street photographer in the UK. The pictures, which record a vast range of family, work and community occasions over the decades, are being digitised at https://flickr.com/photos/hackney_archives
If you can help, contact Hackney Archives via email on archives@hackney.gov.uk or call 020 8356 8925.
