IR: Back in 1992, didyou ever think that a quarter of a century later, the Fireblade would still be going strong and be as competitive as it is?
NT: I don’t think anyone expects any model from any manufacturer to still be around after 25 years. As with any new model back then, we thought it would be around for a few years and then it would be replaced with something else, whatever that might be, but because of the success and popularity of the machine, it has stood the test of time. It has certainly served a good purpose during that period of time.
