It’s a thrill to see John Fogerty in Guitar Player talking about one of the greatest rock albums from the era that really mattered [December 2020]. Cosmo’s Factory is a gem of an album that represents the spirit of Creedence Clearwater Revival and the last great flicker of their flame. They would never again rise to its heights, though Fogerty had some well-deserved successes on his own later on. I was especially taken by John’s admission that he could be a task master and maybe pushed the guys too hard at times. But if that’s what it took to create such timeless music, it was all worth it. Nothing lasts forever, but at least we still can still listen to the music! —
