AS SHE RETURNS TO ‘DEATH IN PARADISE’ JOSEPHINE JOBERT

She’s been making waves this year with her triumphant return to the BBC’s Caribbean-set drama Death in Paradise, but French actress Joséphine Jobert – or Detective Sergeant Florence Cassell, as she is known by fans – hopes one day to capture the bright lights of Hollywood.

“I’m writing something with my mother, a movie blockbuster – we’re dreaming big,” she tells us, speaking exclusively to HELLO! from her chic new apartment in Paris. “We’re going to keep writing together and we’ll see.”

It’s not just screenwriting 35-year-old Joséphine is turning her hand to. Her dream role is to be a Bond girl, following in the footsteps of her Casino Royale star cousin Eva Green.

“I’d love it,” she says, grinning. “It’s so funny – and I’m not making this up – I receive so many messages from people and fans who say to me: ‘You should be the next Bond girl.’
