‘I receive a lot of videos of people with their kids dancing to the music when the show starts – it’s lovely’
It’s one of the most coveted acting jobs on the small screen: filming for BBC’s exotic murder mystery series Death in Paradise under the cyan skies and swaying palm trees of the Caribbean.
And as Joséphine Jobert catches up exclusively with hello!, she reveals that the gig is every bit as idyllic as you’d think. “It’s a dream – filming in Guadeloupe, it’s amazing. The scenery, the people, the vibe, the crew, it’s like a family,” smiles the French actress, who stars as DS Florence Cassell – DI Neville Parker’s partner in crimesolving – in the hit show, which recently returned to our screens for a new series. “During the weekends, we go and see waterfalls, swim in the sea, eat in good restaurants, and the weather is so lovely.”
