Overcast is considered to be the best app for listening to podcasts on your Apple Watch. The developers have overhauled the app so it’s easier to use and packed with more features. These include being able to skip chapters and alter the playback speed. Watch complications are also enhanced: the app now supports orange or blue icon colours and a new complication has been added for users of the Solar watch face which lets you tap the date to launch Overcast. Work has also gone into refining the backend of the app, too.Overcast now uses less cellular data and it will sync with its servers rather than communicate through your iPhone, increasing reliability.
