The late, great Geoff Love
Dear Allan
I picked up issue 32 of your ever-excellent magazine. I have collected Infinity from issue 1. I am 60 and it has brought back so many memories, such as in the new issue, Land of the Giants, Jason King, Geoff Love, I had a few of his theme albums, long gone, and in issue 30 an excellent article on Will Hay; I loved his films as a child and still do. It is always good to read in your introduction that the magazine is doing well. I would just like to say that it always is, especially in the last year, something to look forward to and long may it continue. Brian Thompson, by email.
Thank you for your kind words Brian, it shows we are doing something right. It’s great to be able to champion the likes of genuine talents like Geoff Love and Will Hay in this age of instant celebrities who are famous just for being famous and not for any inherent talent!
Dear Allan and team,
Having read your esteemed magazine since the first issue I felt compelled to write to say thank you. I’ve just finished reading your latest issue No. 32 and if I say it is your finest then I can pay it no finer compliment. Very quickly the mag has turned from a quirky SF-themed magazine in to one that uses science fiction as its base but is not afraid, indeed proud, to go off in whatever direction it chooses. The latest issue is a prime example. What other mag can move from articles on Geoff Love to Jason King to the Cosgrove Hall studio ?
Letters in your mag normally include requests from readers for you to commission and publish articles on some long remembered film/TV series/ comics that they love. Well I’m not going to do that as I prefer to open the white envelope each month and just enjoy seeing what subjects you’ve decided to entertain your loyal readers with.
