Knit Today  |  October 2014
The new season starts here!
Autumn is well and truly on its way, and that’s great news for knitters, as the new season brings with it newyarns and exciting new patterns. Issue 103 is packed with knits that are perfect for layering up as the days get that little bit colder, from a simple cable vest that can be worn over a long-sleeved shirt, our flattering cotton stripe cover garment by Libby Summers and Ruth Maddocks' easywear stripey cardi, to fun socks and fingerless mitts by Kyoko Nakayoshi. Stripes, of course, are great for using up odds and ends, helping you make more room for the new season yarns! We’ve also got an interview with spinner Louise Player, a how-to for setting in sleeves and all the latest knitting news, and reviews. Happy new-season knitting!
