WHAT’S INSIDE LEAGUE EXPRESS: June 24th edition
June 23, 2019 Aaron Bower

It’s been another bumper week in the world of rugby league: both on and off the field.

There’s no better way to recap it all – as well as looking ahead as to what may happen in the coming days, than with the new issue of League Express. Available to read from around 9pm on Sunday night on your smart devices if you download the League Express app from the App Store (or you can click here), here’s what we’ve got for you:

We exclusively revealed details on Saturday of Leeds’ pursuit of Robert Lui (click here to refresh your memory!) – and now, we’ll tell you about the OTHER transfer in Super League that will set off a domino effect between at least four teams that leads to Lui’s Leeds switch.
There’s news from boardroom level at Super League too – including a proposal raised by some clubs that’s almost certainly going to cause a divide between top-flight teams..
St Helens chairman Eamonn McManus is NOT happy about South Sydney’s reported pursuit of Luke Thompson – and he’s got some strong, strong words for the Rabbitohs and the future for English talent going to the NRL in an exclusive interview with us.
There’s been a significant development in Hull FC’s pursuit of Mahe Fonua as they aim to bring the former Challenge Cup winner back to the KCOM Stadium.. we’ll tell you all about it.
Wayne Bennett was in the country last week – and we were there to meet him. Bennett talks everything from midweek tour matches when the Aussies come to visit next year, his own future and heritage players for Great Britain..
..and on that note, we sat down with Blake Austin to ask him exactly where he stands on a potential GB call-up. Is he interested?
