ELLENBOROUGH RANGERS beat KELLS 38-28 in Saturday’s HOLMEN IGGESUND CUMBERLAND LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION fixture.
Jordan Ostle led the way with two tries and five goals, Andy Ostle also bagged a brace and other touchdowns went to John Irving, Luke Penrice and Jason Graham. Kells, who were 22-0 down on 26 minutes, hit back to 22-16 with tries by Lloyd O’Neil, Richard Marr and Dom Wear but had left themselves with too much to do, despite Marr’s second score and a Harry Watson effort; Ashton Sice landed four goals.
WATH BROW HORNETS won 60-4 at SEATON, who were limited to a Stephen Newell touchdown. Hornets eased home with a Luke Spivey hat-trick and a brace apiece for Curtis Teare and Daniel Burns. Sam Curwen contributed a try and eight goals and Luke Davison, Adam Ramsden and Nat Dougan dotted down.
