Michael Jackson was born on 29th August 1958 in Gary, Indiana. In 1964, he started singing with his brothers in the group The Jackson 5. They became hugely popular after the success of their hit single, ABC. In 1971, Michael started a solo career. He released the album, Thriller in 1982. This has become the bestselling album of all time with estimated sales of over 65 million copies. Michael Jackson died on 25th June 2009 after suffering a cardiac arrest. His personal physician, Conrad Murray, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
